Land & Country House Market 2020
AGRICULTURAL LAND MARKET:
The agricultural land market has remained buoyant in the 3rd quarter of the year with a high volume of sales, plenty of bidders and strong price being achieved. We have noticed an increase in non – farmer investment purchasers, particularly since the Covid-19 outbreak where many are taking the view that land, a little like gold is a safe place to park cash for the foreseeable future considering the overall global uncertainty.

The last quarter of this year has been one of the busiest in the Country House Market for some time. With changing work practices due to Covid19 and the ability to work from home combined with better value in the commuter belt we have sold almost all our country stock. Viewings have escalated far beyond the same period in 2019 and in most cases, there has been several bidders either with cash or mortgage approval.
