Jordan Auctioneers have been instructed as joint selling agents of one of the world’s most famous and historic stud farms, Haras de Fresnay-le Buffard located in the heart of the prestigious Normandy breeding and horse racing region, which has been placed on the market by the Niarchos Family who been breeding and racing thoroughbreds for more than 45 years, with their interests spanning four continents. The majority of the family’s bloodstock is focused in Europe (across the UK, Ireland France and Germany) and the USA where they have cultivated an elite broodmare band through generations of breeding racehorses. They remain, to this day, one of the largest and most successful international owner-breeders in racing’s history.
